Health Savings Accounts
Health Savings Accounts, or HSAs, are a tax-advantaged medical savings account available to individuals enrolled in a High Deductible Health Plan. Funds contributed to the account may be used to pay for qualified medical expenses at anytime without federal tax liability or penalty. The account funds that are not used in a given year will roll over into the next year. These dollars are also completely portable should an individual change jobs or switch health coverage.
